Ongoing discussions with EVCOs

Newman (Teresa Ville MA) has already started engaging the EVCOs, namely:

• Wes Cares Energy
• EV Mobility
• Novowatt Pte Ltd

They have made proposals with the following common points:

• Charger Model: 2 x Single phase 7.4kW, i.e. the slow-charging (AC charges)
• Proposed Carpark Lots: 109 to 111 located next to the Clubhouse nearest the Block 1003 Circle
• Customer Service Support: 24 hours

There are many other points which they raised and also covered in LTA's Electric Vehicle Guide for Management Corporation Strata Titles (MCSTs).

LTA recommends the Capex-free ownership model. The key considerations are:

• EVCOs to have full ownership and control of the chargers
• No cost for hardware and installation
• Minimal responsibility for operation and maintenance
• All queries fronted by EVCO

Disadvantage

• Charging price determined by EVCO
